Cliche aside, my disenchantment with soy milk began in a restaurant in China when I was cheerfully anticipating a real milk treat and out came a milky substance and a pile of sugar. Needless to say, my horrible and meticulously convoluted revenge is still underway.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12701186474452272514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4039670737739959567.post-76238662954667425472010-10-04T21:10:45.769+07:002010-10-04T21:10:45.769+07:00Heh. If it weren't for the fact that it is usually disgustingly expensive, I'd drink a carton every day. But basically everyone else hates it. So... go figure.

-bnBen Godbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15450579203940093977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4039670737739959567.post-5781121113064167142010-10-04T16:24:23.823+07:002010-10-04T16:24:23.823+07:00That's the spirit. I grew up amongst people who ate way too much meat and so I had to train myself to cook vegetables once I realized that eating a whole beef roast by itself was not healthy eating.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12701186474452272514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4039670737739959567.post-85021968641120349392010-10-04T14:23:36.535+07:002010-10-04T14:23:36.535+07:00I think vegetables are great, although I can seldo...I think vegetables are great, although I can seldom get hubby to eat them cooked. Oh well, raw is good. I'm already lamenting the fact that my farmer's market will dry up at the end of the month. :(

I find I eat healthier now that my son eats all meals at the table with us. If I'm going to insist that he eat a serving of veggies and fruits before being allowed his main course, I have to set the same example. (I usually ate healthy anyway, but he helped me kick it up a notch.)Eileen Rhoadarmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05934680476041554606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4039670737739959567.post-37527191364349326722010-10-03T21:16:29.693+07:002010-10-03T21:16:29.693+07:00I think the prospect of soy milk keeps a lot of ot...I think the prospect of soy milk keeps a lot of otherwise willing people away from your lifestyle. As for me? A bohemian eats whatever he is offered, and for himself cooks simply.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12701186474452272514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4039670737739959567.post-82222984574178004752010-10-03T20:52:52.571+07:002010-10-03T20:52:52.571+07:00I'm very fond of bright veggies like yellow zu...I'm very fond of bright veggies like yellow zucchini and tomatoes--only small tomatoes, however. Big ones have far too much juice.

I have a strange diet. I'm vegan and I live next door to an outdoor market; so on the one hand, I eat fresh, local, organic fruits and vegetables; but on the other, I eat highly processed "mock meat," soy milk, and other dandies of the vegan diet that include chemicals I can't even pronounce.

Oh well! I'm just going to hope that some of those chemicals produce drug-glands inside my brain, a la Iain M.
