I'm a writer.
I have a job. I love my job, my job is great and I enjoy every day I go to work and I don't come home tired.
But I'm a writer, and I will be a Writer.
No matter how much I enjoy my job, as soon as I can support myself as a Writer, I will quit my job. Unless I slip up in the future, this is the last time you'll see me mention my job on this blog.
This blog is about writing and Writing, the craft and the business.
The format will be simple. I will babble about something I thought about while writing, and then at the bottom of the post I'll put my daily word-count target with either Yes, No, or OK and the current project I'm working on along with a short status. This will happen around 6PM, which is the arbitrary time I've decided my "writing day" ends.
There may be podcasts.
That is all, commence babble.
I really lost a lot of respect for The Shadow once I realized his superpower was the ability to not be seen on the radio. I mean, I can do that. In fact, now I'm wondering why all those other people on the show didn't declare themselves invisible. Sure, The Shadow Knows what lurks in the hearts of men, but if he can't see them they can still get away with it.
Look at me! I'm invisible.
